About Us
Georgetown Ventures is a nonprofit, student-run startup accelerator at Georgetown University. Since its inception in 2017, GV has empowered over 90 passionate entrepreneurs to realize their impactful ideas and raise over $30 million in collective funding. With over 60 student members across its consulting, technical, and creative divisions, Ventures also fosters a lively entrepreneurship community on campus, providing undergraduates with an opportunity to assist real-world startups and meaningfully develop their entrepreneurial passion.
Ventures welcomes approximately 10 founders across its two accelerator programs each semester. LaunchPad helps early-stage startups launch by focusing on the development of minimum viable products (MVPs) and customer discovery, and the Venture Accelerator supports startups further along in their growth journey through curated deliverables based on specific team needs. Given its status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Georgetown Ventures aims to ensure that founders from all backgrounds and industries have significant opportunities to further their entrepreneurial goals.
